Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday 23 March 2020 as an essential service Chamonix Estates head office teams are continuing to work as normal. 

Chamonix Estates have implemented their remote office working plan and our head office and group colleagues have already commenced working from home with full access to our office and phone systems. If you have any issues, please report them in the usual way, ideally via our online issue reporting system.

During this critical time minor repairs will be logged and actioned once the Government changes its advice on working.

Our mobile caretaking teams are continuing to deliver cleaning and grounds maintenance plus continuing to ensure appropriate safety checks are carried out to apartment buildings such as emergency lighting tests and communal area inspections in line with the current Government guidelines. We ask our customers to respect our colleagues delivering these front line works and keep to the recommended 2m social distance guidelines.

Repairs and maintenance responses involving third party contractors such as lift and water pump engineers may be impacted due to Government operating guidelines on their priorities e.g. dealing with NHS or essential services first. This may result in delays in responding to individual site repairs and breakdowns.

If you are contacting us in relation to payment matters, the advice we have received is that you should contact your mortgage, Council and FCA regulated finance companies in the first instance to freeze any payments due to them as a priority.
